What Part Of NO Don't They Understand? GOP Insists On Pork For Holidays

When the American people recoil at auto execs flying to congressional hearings in private jets in order to get bailout money, everybody understands why.

When Wall Street Bankers celebrate their government handout with a trip to an expensive spa, taxpayers justifiably bristle.

When talk about ending earmarks and cutting pork crop up on the campaign trail, taxpayers cheer.

So when the new GOP leadership in Congress seems to be completely deaf to what their constituents are saying, it's time for all of us to ask, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE GUYS?

This is just the intro from an article this morning written by Ed Morrissey at Hot Air blog:

Two successive national-election losses still hasn’t clued Republicans into the need for dramatic change in their direction.  The House GOP caucus rejected a planby John Boehner and Eric Cantor to impose a unilateral moratorium on pork-barrel spending, even a short term freeze.

What is wrong with these guys?  I have an suggested answer and a picture is worth a thousand words.
